Receiving All Cable Channels Available
Please try the following troubleshooting tasks for this repair:
- Some older cable ready TVs and VCRs have a channel limitation. Refer to your owner’s manual to verify if your equipment is cable ready and how many channels the equipment can receive. If your equipment does have a channel limitation, you may need to purchase a converter box from a local electronics vendor, to view all basic channels available.
- Make sure your television is set to "Cable TV Reception" and not to "Antenna" Reception."
- Make sure you have programmed your TV and/or VCR to receive all the basic channels available.
