Can Only Receive Channels 2-13
Please try the following troubleshooting tasks for this repair:
- Some older televisions and/or VCRs are not "cable ready." This means they cannot receive cable TV programming. For example, televisions with a rotary dial for changing channels are usually not cable ready. Refer to the equipment manuals that came with your TV or VCR to verify that your equipment is cable ready. If your equipment is not cable ready, you may need to purchase a converter box from an electronics vendor or purchase a cable ready piece of equipment, such as a VCR.
- Make sure your television is set to "Cable TV Reception" and not to "Antenna" Reception."
- Make sure you have programmed your TV and/or VCR to receive all the basic channels available.
