Channel Changes to Affect Columbus Campus and South Gateway Apartment Line-ups 03/17/08
On March 18, 2008, between 12 midnight and 6 AM, several channel changes will occur on the following Ohio State University channel line-ups:
Columbus on-campus analog/basic line-up:
- AZN Television, channel 10, is being removed.
- BBC (BBC America) is moving from channel 71 to channel 3.
- DISCH (Discovery Health) is moving from channel 72 to channel 10.
- MTV2 is moving from channel 73 to channel 97.
Columbus off-campus analog/basic line-up (OSU unique residential properties):
- AZN Television, channel 10, is being removed.
- HSN (Home Shopping Network) is being added to channel 10 to replace AZN.
- JTV (Jewelry TV) is being removed from channel 69.
- BBC (BBC America) is being removed from channel 71.
- DISCH (Discovery Health) is being removed from channel 72.
- MTV2 is moving from channel 73 to channel 69.
South Campus Gateway Apartments analog/basic line-up:
- AZN Television, channel 10, is being removed.
- HSN (Home Shopping Network) is being added to channel 10 to replace AZN.
- JTV (Jewelry TV) is being removed from channel 69.
- BBC (BBC America) is being removed from channel 71.
- DISCH (Discovery Health) is being removed from channel 72.
- MTV2 is moving from channel 73 to channel 69.
Most of these changes are due to channel realignments being implemented by OIT’s contracted provider, Time Warner Cable. AZN Television has been discontinued by the company that owns the channel.
