Columbus Campus Converted to New Channel Line-up August 28; Big Ten Network to Air on Campus Channel 69 08/28/07
On August 28, OIT rolled out a new basic channel line-up for the Ohio State Columbus Campus. The new channel line-up includes the new Big Ten Network (channel 69) that launches August 30 and ESPNU (channel 35) that launches August 31. The complete channel line-up is available online and can be accessed by clicking on the More Information link provided below.
OIT distributes and maintains the channel line-up, which is part of the university’s closed-circuit TV system. The TV system is available to most university buildings on the Columbus Campus. The basic channel line-up is delivered as a standard service in all undergraduate residence halls and apartments and is an optional service that may be ordered through OIT in graduate, professional and family housing areas, as well as administrative buildings on the Columbus campus. The TV system is not available in all Columbus campus locations.
University customers that currently have the basic channel line-up automatically received the new line-up on the 28th. Customers may need to perform a channel scan on their TV and/or video equipment to view all channels available.
University departments or on-campus residents that do not currently have the basic channel line-up may contact OIT during business hours for more information or to order service.
