OSU vs. Indiana Game to Air Live on Campus Channel 37 10/17/06
The Ohio State vs. Indiana football game will air live on channel 37 of the university’s closed-circuit TV system, which is distributed by OIT (formerly UNITS Dept.). ESPNU is the channel that has broadcasting rights for Saturday's game, which is scheduled to start at noon. OIT has made special arrangements to temporarily carry ESPNU through November 16, 2006.
The university’s closed-circuit, TV system is available in all Columbus, on-campus residence halls, graduate and professional housing buildings, Buckeye Village apartments, and some university office buildings. The system is not available in all Columbus campus locations.
University customers that already receive the closed-circuit TV system and basic channel line-up will automatically receive the live broadcast of the game at no additional charge. Customers may need to perform a channel scan on their TV and video equipment to receive channel 37.
University customers with questions should contact OIT by email at units@osu.edu or by phone at 2-8648 during regular office hours.
OIT would like to acknowledge Campus Televideo, DirecTV and the Athletic Department for their generous contributions in making the presentation of this channel possible.
